Ambassador joins the team

Great news!

We are proud and honoured to announce the ambassador for MyOppo.org. We have chosen Michael Johnson, because he is a truly inspiring role model of ours, he is a naturally nice person and his kindness flows effortlessly. He is also a loving husband and a father and, like us, he is very supportive of our armed forces.

He works with the England U21 team as a coach and he can help with fundraising through T-shirt signing of the very skilled young England team, he can help with motivational zoom calls and speeches and can use his social media presence to spread awareness to our cause.

A little bit about Michael Johnson’s career as a former footballer:

Michael made more than 550 appearances in the football league and Premier league including teams such as Birmingham City, Derby County and Notts county – the club where he began his professional career. Although born in Nottingham, England, played 13 times for the Jamaica national team. He retired as a player at the end of the 2008-2009 season and took up the post of youth team manager with Notts County. He is a current England’s U21 coach and club ambassador of Derby County.

Thank you for your support Michael, and welcome to the team
